Ones beyond the times,when ancient Egypt had a pantheon of gods and goddess there were Nuit (Nut) goddess of the Sky and Geb god of Earth, tween sister and brother. They became spouses against of Ra's will so her father Shu, the god of Air lifted up Nut in his arms separating her from Geb over the day time. Goddess Nuit resisted the separation and stretched her body reaching lovingly for her beloved husband. She arched her body over Geb forming our universe as her hands and feet stayed connected forming the 4 cardinal points- North, South, East and West.
