New EBW Challenge January theme is going to be" Sea or Ocean related". It is such a tasty subject I cannot stop getting my inspiration and draw new and new sketches. It's so hard to choose just one for the challenge

I had three reasons to start this necklace. Recently I was asked if I can freeform... I said that I've never done freeforming but I really want to try and never had either time or inspiration... so there is the one.
So technique decision has been made... and I thought it could go beautifully with the EBW Challenge theme as you can "draw" all the beauty of underwater world using this beautiful technique.
Sea for me always was special.I grew up almost next to the seaside and I do miss my Black Sea so much.I use to spend almost all the summer on the sea side. Now... only when I'm going to visit my parents... So I wanted to make something to remind me about the Black Sea and Crimea. So there is the reason two.I remember the Black Sea as a huge amount of rocks in the water covered with green-bluish-brownish seaweeds. And just for this I had special agate stone. It's very dear for me, because it's my first stone bought for beading. Beautiful lime-green spider net agate bead. My first attempt to bead this stone was not a success at all so it was laying in my craft box for about 18 months.Every time ordering my seed beads I always get some shades of green for this stone, knowing that day will come when I would be ready to deal with it......So there it is the third reason.

Here is a beautiful picture of the Black Sea underwater world by Bulgarian photograph Lyubomir Klissurov
and I hope his pictures will inspire you too.

Here how my necklace looks like now. Off course, I run out of seed beads and whilst I'm waiting for my order to arrive I cannot wait to start another one :)

Finished piece...
Had some adjustments in the end but I'm very happy with the final result
