This month The Challenge Theme is Fairy Tale and Etsy beadweavers were inspired by their favorite fairy tales and here what all participants came up with.
My Entry called "Princess the frog" inspired by Russian Fairy Tale.
This beautiful avanturine frog lived with me for a quite a while and was challenging for me to make a delicate and feminine necklace without gluing the frog on lining
.Here what I came up with. At first the design was slightly different: The Rhodonite cabochon suppose to be a middle of large water lily but when I started to capture cabochon I was carried away with trying new way and I ended up with 5 tiny water lilies on top on my Rhodonite almost covering all the stone.
Here design changed and the first idea will be used for the next little necklace.
To make this necklace I used Toho pink and green beads and one row of black Czech seed beads.
I absolutely in love with this lustre emerald Toho beads and how well Tahitian Swarovski pearls matched them!
Also used smaller Swarovski pink pearls for waterlilies and as I said before Rhodonite round cabochon and curved Aventurine frog.
