Last week's European Street Team on Etsy challenge theme was "the Button". The theme was given by Petronella Luiting from P8 Buttons & Fabrics the previous challenge winner and the rules were
"There must be at least one button in your creation, and it must have a prominent place ! It can be something actually used as a button, but it can also be a real button not used as a button but as deco, etc.
I would be very pleased too if you could write a bit about the button(s) you
use."
My entry was this fun bracelet with a big light olive button, and small transparent lime button as a clasp.
Central Button I beaded as a cabochon, using 1x1 peyote technique and lime green Czech seed beads 8/0 and lime lustre Toho. And the rest of the cuff I've used the same beadweaving technique.Changing size of the beads created this lovely 3 D effect (Matsuno 11/0, Czech 8/0, Czech
5/0).
